Heritage Glass uses industry standard sizing for its aggregate.
Heritage Glass aggregate sizes
correspond to sizes specified by the National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association (NTMA). Glass aggregate is available in sizes 00,0,1,2,3,4-7. Generally only the smaller sizes of 0 through 2 are used in epoxy installations while any of the sizes may be used in cement installations.
Depth: Heritage Glass aggregates achieve a wonderful transparency enabling you to see into the floor.
Shape: Most Heritage Glass aggregates are similar in shape and weight to crushed marble and have a fractured glass surface and not a flat, parallel surface. This multi-dimentional shape ensures a secure hold in epoxy or cement. Several of our aggregates are crushed bottles, window glass or crushed mirror. These aggregates have a machine-formed flat side which give a unique look to the finished floor or countertop.
Special Sizes: Heritage Glass can manufacture nearly any size you may need. Contact us for more information.
